I am a 32 year old dad who has turned his life around through exercise. Despite always being into the gym from high school, basketball from the age of 8, and loving sports in general as soon as I could walk, life and bad habits repeatedly got in the way. I drifted in and out of different gyms over the years, and developed a beer belly along with some terrible eating habits. After deciding to give up drinking and smoking in 2012, I changed my habits bit by bit into a healthy lifestyle and now I aim to consistently keep in a healthy routine, regularly taking part in karate and Thai boxing classes, along with weight training 4-6 times a week.
We all have the potential for greatness and I believe the best way to make changes that we can maintain is with Small Steps.
My aim is to show people that the best way to achieve any goal is through small and achievable changes. These changes can be so small they seem almost too easy and insignificant, but when these are made constantly and consistently they add up to great things.
“The journey of a thousand miles always starts with the first step”
I wish to help others who have slipped into unhealthy routines to achieve lasting change, and to overcome barriers like fitting exercise in around family life and a full time job.
I can offer nutrition advice like better food choices, or personalised meal plans. I also offer personal training on a one to one basis. Flexibility and relaxation is important to any programme and I am currently studying Pilates so I can teach that and incorporate its benefits into clients routines.
I strive to constantly improve myself through further education and I am always learning new techniques so I can deliver the best possible advice and service to my clients.
